Nainital is a Himalayan tourist town in India’s Uttarakhand state, located at a height of around 2,000 meters. It was once a British hill station and is built around Nainital Lake, a renowned boating destination with the Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north bank.
Nainital Zoo is a popular tourist destination where you may see uncommon species such as snow leopards, steppe eagles, and Himalayan black bears. The Raj Bhavan’s Governor House, with its expansive grounds, is one of the few Raj Bhavnas open to the public. The Eco Cave Garden, Nainital’s newest attraction, teaches children about the environment.
